Why, towards the end of the book, did they start talking about the war? And what ever happened to Chigurh? Did he ever end up in jail? I'm confused.

How Can Chigurh behavior be explained? What motivates him to kill so heartlessly? How dose does he regard the people he kills?
why did moss not try to listen to the guy that tried to help and save him.? i think moss was being very pride fell because the people just kept finding him. i think he was giving away to much money.
In the story there is this quote "somewhere in the world is the most invincible man. just as somewhere is the most vulnerable" what does this mean. I think it means that some in the world there are strong men that you can just stop or tear down and there is some men that act week and chick like.
How can Chigurhs behavior be explained? What motives him to kill so hearlessly? How dose he regard the poeple he kills?
towards the end of the book the older people begin to talk about wars they been in and there life. why do you think the author choose to end the book lik this. I think he did that to show how great life is and how it should be full of memories good and bad.
who were the three men that was shooting at moss chigurh that night moss got shot.
why does chigurh make all his choices best on luck and a coin toss? I think that shows that he is not capable of making his own decsions.
who was the man that recieved the 2.3million dollars in the office. i didnt quite understand who recived it.
why did moss want his wife to be killed.?

Dang!

Why Did Chigurh feel like he had to kill Moss' wife?

Invite

Rachel, you or someone from your group needs to invite Dalvin to the conversation. His e-mail is dalvin9@yahoo.com...

wow.

So, the title pretty much sums up the novel.. No country for old men. Nobody lives to an old age. Sort of makes me regret reading this book now. Quite depressing if you ask me. I'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts on how this book wraps up.
who was shooting at moss at the hotel under the neon lights? i wish he would have got caught by the men and died
what did moss mean by let me know if anyone checks in with a swinging dick.? Was he trying to be funny or he just wanted to know if any and every man that came through

To what extent do you believe its ok to take something that doesnt belonge to you? why did moss decide to take the money what was is reasoning or motive? I personally think he took the money because he didnt want to live in a trailer anymore and he really wasnt happy with his life. In the book when he went back home it said that he open up a cabinet to pile of bills that wasnt payed.
why dont you think moss choose to go back to the first motel room? i think because someone was actually there waiting for him looking through the blinds.
in the novel the author chooses to jump back inforth between characters, like one minute he will be talking about the sheriffs and the crime scene then the next paragraph he will be talkin about moss without ending the chapter. Why does the author do that?

No Country for Old Men

All right, y'all, this is Mr. A. stepping in to kick to butt. Are you all reading the same book? Some of you are confused on the plot, I think. Especially since Moss does go back to help the dying man! Now, fellows, let's not make Rachel do the hard work! Along those line, this is a blog site, not text messaging. It's okay to write multiple sentences when responding! (In fact, you need to...)

All right, let's start digging into the book a bit more. Enjoy!

If you were Moss what would you have done after you discovered all that money?
the man in the store why did he make a big deal about the coin flip.?
is Llewelyn and Moss the same person
What Do You Think Of Chigurh?!?!
who is wendell and bell, and what is there significance to the story
Do you think Moss should have gone back and brought water to the dying man? Could his intentions foreshadow the likelihood of his survival at the conclusion of the book?
